James Vincent is the Founder and Managing Principal of Internex Equities in charge of investment decision-making and operations. Mr. Vincent is based in Cali, Colombia. He oversees the day-to-day operation of Internex’s asset-based lending platform including the management of its underwriting and loan servicing teams, which to date has funded over $5.7mm in performing loans in Colombia alone.  James continues to expand Internex’s loan portfolio while identifying its next near-term opportunities. 

In 1999, James started his career in the U.S. acquiring real estate and oversaw a private “fix & flip/hold” strategy that included over $45mm of real estate transactions over 15 years.  In 2016, Mr. Vincent expanded and diversified his real estate holdings by purchasing homeless shelters and sober living homes which he managed until 2023. In addition to his real estate investments, Mr. Vincent operated a private asset-based lending company that financed small businesses.  In the year, 2023 James moved with his fiancée to Cali, Colombia to be closer to her family.  James currently lives in Cali with his fiancée and their dog. 

 

Marcus Fox is the Head of Investor Relations for Internex Equities.  Mr. Fox’s professional experience includes asset management in private credit markets across various strategies including direct lending, asset-based lending, specialty finance, opportunistic and structured equity & credit. Marcus has 18 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate structured finance. In 2016, he served as principal of a New York-based private equity firm focused exclusively on structured real estate investment and financing including direct lending, asset-based lending, and structured equity. Mr. Fox is originally from Long Island, New York and currently resides there with his wife and children where he contributes his time to several local not-for-profit entities focused on education.

In 2000, Marcus graduated with a BS from Cornell University with a concentration in International Marketing.
